These are the best in ear phones I have tried. Mids and highs are not perfect, but nice. Very flat response. Nice. But the webpage on their site says for classical music and jazz. They don't mention other genres for this model.

I don't think they have enough base for any other genr

Picture quality good, sound quality okay, but the driver software totally destabilized my Windows XP system. Everything slowed down- mysterous 10 second delays started. Trying to log out or reboot would pop up windows saying that a "CameraMonitor" process was refusing to die. I un-installed the s

My case was delivered quickly and just as explained. It has "BWC" stamped on the cover and my G1 fits in it perfectly. There's even a 1/2" gap at the end of the phone. I know it's not leather but I didn't expect it to be for the wonderful price I got it for. I needed something to keep my phone and p

Why bother?
8/2/2008
This album really was a disappointment for life-long fans like myself. Poison has been notorious for their re-release / re-working of the same old material with all of their live albums, greatest hits albums, etc., and they have put out very little new material in the past decade. When they have put out new material, it is often what I would consider sub-par (i.e., the new part of "Power to the People" and all of "Hollyweird"). On the heels of all of these disappointments comes this album--a cover album--in which there really isn't any inspiration or innovation in the re-makes of these songs. Honestly, I think that Poison has lost its edge, and I feel as though they are taking advantage of their fan-base.

This is a great party album
7/18/2008
If I had to choose a band to play at a party Poison would be one of my choices. Sure this is a covers album but it is a helluva lot of fun!! For me the cover of The Romantics "What I Like About You" is tops and Sweet's "Little Willy" is a lot of fun. "Squeeze Box" originally by The Who was a surprise choice considering the original but they have done a good job to "Poison" the song. The only let down for me is a fairly lack lustre version of KISS' "Rock n Roll All Nite" - passable but lacking a bit of energy.
Buy this, crank up the volume and cringe - Poison may lack credibility but this is a fun album.

Poison - 'Poison'd' (Capitol)
7/10/2008
Main reason I'm giving this thirteen track, all-cover Poison CD a for-star rating, is because of their full effort they put in on making this disc. These cuts were recorded during 2006-07 with the assistance of producer Don Was. There's only one song here I don't like at all. But tunes that managed to sort of catch me off guard were Sweet's "Little Willy", Marshall Tucker Band's "Can't You See", the smoking Romantics cover - "What I Like About You" {killer harmonica - they're playing this on their current summer tour}, the Stone's stellar "Dead Flowers" and Jim Croce's "Don't Mess Around With Jim". Can you beat that? Hair metal rarely sounds this good. Definitely worth a listen.

Hail to the gods of ROCK!!
4/24/2008
I have been a poison fan since I was a teenager and I saw them on MTV with 'I want action', and the blonde bombshell CC Deville strolled across the stage strumming his guitar in a way only CC can. I have most albums. I saw this album and recognised the Bowie track and as it was Poison, how wrong could you go? What I wasn't prepared for was the fact they had matured and matured a lot. Bret's voice is more powerful now than ever and CC's guitar playing well it has to be said, he gets better with age.
Poison for me, is like a vintage fine wine, they get better with age. If you don't like cover versions you will be pleasantly surprised at how good their versions are; and in a lot of the songs, much better, Squeeze Box being a prime example.
For sheer listening pleasure buy this album you won't be disappointed.

Fun, Fun record....more like LWTCDI than anything they've done in 20 years
4/17/2008
FINALLY!

Even though this is a collection of covers, it's more like Look What the Cat Dragged In than anything else...it only took them 20 years to get back to their incredible roots! BUY.

Also check out Fozzy All That Remains Reloaded, heavier, but a ton of fun, with that raw edgy fun sound.
